Robin van Persie is a Dutch footballer who plays for English Premier League club Arsenal F.C. and the Dutch national team. First of all,he joined SBV Excelsior's youth squad in 2001. He made his breakthrough at hometown club Feyenoord, where he spent three seasons and won the 2002 UEFA Cup. In 2004, he moved to England and signed with Arsenal, with whom he won the FA Community Shield, and the FA Cup. Van Persie has 33 caps and 12 goals with the Netherlands, and participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008.
Lastly,his manager Arsene Wenger heaped praise on him and told that he brings more success and energy to the club even than the legend Dennis Bergkamp.On the other hand,Arsene Wenger admitted that Berkgkamp has a great influence on Van Persie's football.“Van Persie is Dennis Bergkamp - with goals. You look at his scoring record and it is better than Dennis's,” said the Arsenal boss.“
"When Robin came here it was a big move for him, but we gave him a role model in Dennis and now he has really grown into that role."
